Steve Bondy has been involved in technology for “more years than I want to think about”.
He started in broadcast television, and transitioned to a role operating computer controlled video editing systems. After many years there, he shifted to networks and systems administration, and a slot as an an IT manager and team leader. He currently consults with enterprise clients on streamlining business processes through document/content management, ECM integration and intelligent e-forms systems.
Perhaps because of his background in broadcasting, Steve views technology as a means to an end, rather than an end itself. “People in technology have a tendency to forget that IT is not about the technology - it’s about the information.”
Steve’s technology focus is “everything”, but he is currently working on additional Cisco knowledge and on learning more about virtualization. He is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, Project Management Institute and the MIT Enterprise Forum of Texas. He holds certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Kofax, and Autonomy/Interwoven - a leading provider of document management systems.
When not working on building better IT infrastructures, Steve is an amateur photographer, a student pilot, and chief dog walker of Gus, Steve’s 11 year old Vizsla.
